Free programme for the development of talent and encouragement of STEM vocations in girls in their 3rd and 4th years of secondary school via master classes and shadowing sessions with mentors.
It is comprised of three educational modules:
WOMEN’S AGE is an initiative by Telefónica Open Future_ to promote, drive and strengthen the female presence in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. It is a space where innovative women are the real stars of the show.
This three-level mentoring programme is aimed at girls studying their Bachillerato (Mentor B), studying at university (Mentor U) and young graduates with talent (Mentor E).
Students are mentored by STEM women who accompany and guide their professional development, and with whom projects of mutual interest are developed depending on the educational stage of the student.
This programme of grants and business internships with a technological base is for entrepreneurial women with talent and recent university graduates.
If you would like to participate in our “Real Work” grants and internship programme you may present your candidacy at this link.
I think it's very important to encourage talent. For me, this initiative is an opportunity to encourage STEM girls to study what they really like.
It seems to me a great initiative to offer a closer vision of science and engineering and to promote the talent of girls and young people.
It is an opportunity to have a positive impact on the lives of women, to believe in themselves and in the goals they are able to achieve with determination, dedication and enthusiasm.
I am really proud to be part of something like this and to be able to bring to the future STEM women the experience and the opportunities. If they are passionate about technology and contribute their talent, they will be unstoppable.
With this initiative I hope to be able to participate in the growth of tomorrow's women, who will demonstrate that equality is possible.
